    Hey everyone,
Since everyone in this forum seems to be very knowledgeable i was interested in seeing what each of you thinks would be the best way to recruit affiliates to a new money saving website that has an affiliate program? What attracted you to the sites you are affiliates for?

Thanks for you input, I am excited to hear what everyone has to say!

Thanks for the response. How much do those types of programs or networks cost? I don't really have a budget for this so I need to try strategies that don't cost money.

    Thanks,
    Sarie

I have a mailing list that I can promote different affiliate programs for. But really it all comes down to my main site and getting targeted traffic.

I went onto trafficswarm and it seemed a little scammy...i dont understand how it helps you build traffic for your site when there is no place to add a link to your site. Also it kept trying to get me to sign up for all these offers to get paid to take surveys etc...and it says i have to make it my homepage for it to help me.

Can I get a little more information on this site and their program, is it really for real? how does it specifically work to get more traffic to my site?

    Thanks,
    Sarie

I been a member of trafficswarm for over a year now..It probably the "google" of traffic exchanges!..I have a "free membership".. you can submit up to 10 URL's there (they need to be approved) for free!...What I did was set trafficswarm as my "home page" when I turn on the computer, I spend a few minutes clicking on "ads" (haven't had a pop up etc yet) this why for every site I visit, I get the same number alloted to my URL's ..pretty easy site to use!

You need to prove that your affiliate program will make money to your subscribers. Spamming won't help you.

For example I earned 18$ with text link ads in first month. So when someone see this he/she wants to try it self. I understand that 18$ is nothing but for small bloggers is ok. Just to pay for hosting fees and to cover coffee and donuts :)
