What is the best way to Promote my File Hosting site ???

I am struggling on ways to promote my new File Hosting Site would i promote it the same as any other site or is there a special way,what i have done so far is added it to the 3 major search engines and Digg and i am planning to add it to directories this coming week.
Any suggestion please.Thanks

 

I am not sure but i think contacting webmasters (rapidshare like direct download) to promote your site for money exchange is a good way.
Also keep a user friendly startegy until u become known.

 

So i guess i may well be looking at paying someone to promote my site which i would be willing to do but who would be willing to do this and what would you do and how much ???

 

By uploading files and promotting the files in forums etc paying people and building on your search engine rankings for example make the file names search engine friendly will help you build traffic in the future.

 

Your file hosting lack of feature such as remote upload and the max file size is low.
For promoting,you can hire some uploader to post your link at major forum such as warez blog.

 

Pay per click advertising. Email Marketing.

 

try to find forums that are rated to your website, post about your site this will improve google rankings. Start an affiliate program where you find other websites that have related content and exchange links.
