Hello, I own a technology blog and I plan to make infographics. According to you guys, what is the best way to promote these ? Regards
I'd say twitter. I see lots of those passing through my account. You may want to also join a tech blog/site of some sort and submit your infographics there.
There are various high PR ranked infographics submission websites where you can submit your inforgraphics and then promote that on your social media and social bookmark it and ping it.
Dear, Firstly make an amazing infographic (data & graphics have to be well arranged) Then submit to different Infographic Galleries (visual.ly, visualzing, mashable, etc...) - I don't think Social network can work in this case. On the other hand, people usually visit infographic galleries to enjoy new-launched infographic, then probably yours will be exposed to targeted audiences - In addition, if they take interest, they can share/like your infographic as well. PS: I'm working on Infographic for a long time, so please trust me!
Create unique infographics that is visuallly pleasing & informative / educative , make it very light in weight without compromising the clarity. Then you start posting in Facebook / Twitter / Pinterest & also posts on Forums like DP , you would definitely be able to get attendance from target audience. Also this shouldn't be one time process , do it repetitively to get better results.
When promoting an infographic your strategy should be to get as much exposure as possible. This is from my Infographic Cheat Sheet. Infographic directories Social media - Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, Google+. Reddit relevant subreddits. Niche blogs outreach Document sharing sites.
There's a tone of different types of sites that take them. Some of my favorite are Pinterest, Medium and Tumblr.
You should share it first in social media (Pinterest is also a good place for sharing infographics) then try to reach out other sites/authors and ask them if they can post your infographic.
I think you Re-purpose your content. Pitch top influence's in your industry. one piece of content, properly re-purposed can bring you around 2000 back links over time. That's a proven fact.
