I just signed up to become an affiliate at Amazon and want to know what is the best way to promote their products?
Well you can start by finding good niche for product, then you can start with Hubpages, and do some backlinking for that but keyword must be very low and then if you like it go for blog/website and do professional seo and social media, ppc or whatever and you are fine
There are many many ways to promote Amazon here are just a few we teach at my Amazon Training Academy 1.) Mini Niche Sniper Sites (Build a mini website promoting a single Amazon product) 2.) Authority Sites (a much larger site focused on a line of products such as Bread Makers for example 3.) Facebook (Everyone has a facebook account so adding 12 Amazon Stores to a single fan page is a great way to promote Amazon) 4.) YouTube ( using Youtube to advertise free on youtube and get people to promote your products for you ) 5.) Squidoo (Building Squidoo lenses a great free way to get backlinks and add to your mini sites for promoting Amazon) 6.) Hubpages ( Another great Free way to build sites promoting Amazon. The list goes on but you get the idea. best to choose one first and get started Kickin it on Amazon Gaz Cooper Amz Training Academy

I am quite successful with Amazon Associates so I will share some tips. I hope I'll help you in some way 1. Be sure to use Squidoo, it's one of the best revenue sharing site with huge traffic and you make a lot of sales via your own Amazon affiliate ID or the one that you get on Squidoo. I really recommend you to use this site. 2. Niches are the road to success! Build niche blogs (for single products and for product categories), build niche Facebook pages, niche Twitter accounts and niche e-mail lists 3. E-mail marketing is an awesome tool for huge sales with Amazon Ass. 4. Check out what is selling best on Amazon and what's trending right now. Check out list of Best sellers and most wished products on Amazon and be sure to check out Google Insight for Products to find out what is popular right now. 5. Make video reviews and post them on YouTube and other video sharing sites. But be sure to actually try a product before you make a review. Reputation and trust are two main keys in affiliate marketing in my opinion.
There are two ways. 1# First way is free and involves starting a FB fanpage and writing "notes". Tyoe notes in the Facebook search bar or download the free app and then start doing your research for available Amaon products to promote. The FB notes allow conten, images and basic HTML, so you can copy and paste your affiliate links and wrap them around your images and keyword links. Google and the main search engines index these pages and they are high ranked, but they can take up to six weeks to be indexed. 2# Start a review site or blog and look for Amazon product to promote in a niche you're familiar with. Find Amazon products which are selling, have good recent feedback and which have low competition or even limited data using the free Google keyword tool. Stick to this kind of formula and remeber the keywords of the products in your title and as your link. If you find a formula that works then, it's always best to stick with it and especially if it serves you well. All the best Mark n
Product blogs is the very best IMO. Facebook is close but you'll need to use their PPC system and not worth it in the long run IMO.
You are wrong about Facebook and PPC. You can use FB "notes" through your fanpage which is a free facility and any notes you create will be indexed by Google an dth emain search engines, so you can promote any affiliate product including Amazon, as these type of pages allow you to upload content, images and you can use HTML ot wrap you affiliae code around your text and images. The downside is that, it can currently take up to six weeks to get a page indexed. Mark
