What is the best way to move an old website to a new one?

I'm working on different sections of the new website (it's a re-design of BlacksburgPoker).

Is it better to redirect each section to its corresponding new section? I would prefer to do this as members would find what they are looking for easier...

Should I wait until the whole website is done, or does it matter if redirect each section once the new version of it is done?

    Thanks
    Nima

Bumping may cause you an infraction according to the forum guidelines:

However, the best way to move your site is using your temporary URL/IP provided by your new hosting service, then after uploading everything, change your DNS to avoid downtime while getting search engines indexing your site either new or old during the transition.
