Hi guys I have a new site that is in beta testing with 2,500 users The way my site works is pretty simple, a company places their app/game/book etc on my site, they pay me the value of it and a small fee per review that is published. The reviewer buys the paid-app/game/book etc and is credited back once they have written the review. I have the site set up to pay $1 to a referrer for each and every new user that publishes their first review - the system pays $1 automatically to the referrer via paypal. So my question is, where should I go to advertise the referral scheme? (I've also set it up to pay users when they refer their friends, just wondered the best way to promote this coming out of beta.) Appreciate any advice. Thanks
First off, I think I have seen something like this already. Secondly, I would advertise in forums, blogs, and sites that are related to your topic. Maybe try sites that feature new product launches.
Do what paradigmad said - also how about getting those 2,500 beta testers to spread the word? Maybe offer them some sort of incentive to promote it?
