According to Alexa rankings we've moved from 22 million to 700K place, so I guess overall it's not bad. The only thing Google's page rank is still at 0. I am wondering how long it takes before google starts taking you seriously.

The way to tell is to watch your site moving up and down in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) for your keywords. If you don't know what your keywords are, then you better look into this and find out. If you want to increase in this area, you have to keep building links on other relevant (car and dating related) sites using different variations of your keywords in the anchor text of your link. You can definitely use social networking and social media sites to create a buzz about your site. In the long run, however, building links and getting other high traffic sites to mention yours is the best way to keep the visitors coming. Of course word of mouth would be nice, but there isn't really any way you can ensure this will happen. Having a site that goes viral is a bit like winning a lottery.
