I'm a website designer/developer myself but I've never really worked with affiliate programs and such however I have used resellerspanel.com but it didn't work so I see mostly all of you guys are professionals making over atleast $10 a day with google adsense so how do u guys do it??
Hi Website Tiger, The most important thing to remember in Affiliate Marketing is not to solely concentrate on the end result which is money, you should aim for quality information that will interest you enough to write about and help your readers. We would recommend you NOT starting out in Adsense purely because you will be making pennies, plus it's not really affiliate based. A first time marketer like yourself should be looking for solid affiliate marketing platforms to start promoting from within, like Commission Junction, Trade Doubler etc. It's perfect that you are a developer and designer yourself, you will be up and running in no time. Here's some steps to get going: 1. Research a market of interest, with word tracker (but start at the very top of that market) 2. Go deep into that market of choice until you reach a level were you are competing with under 2 million pages 3. Find the top ten sites on Google, Yahoo and MSN for your niche site, take notes of what they are doing and promoting 4. Research keywords 5. Write articles 6. Build the site 7. All the people who are making money share one thing in common. Hard work and sleepless night. Affiliate marketing is no quick money scheme. The more time you put into learning about selling online and working on your sites the more money you will make. It's not rocket science. Get people coming to your websites and get them to buy.
