I plan on having a non-niche site... the shop will have 25-50 actual products (not from the same niche...) I also plan to have an on-going product reviews section, and review best selling products.... (not from the same niche...) So on-page seo may not be practical as it would not be practical doing keyword research for every single review.... then dedicate those keywords to every different article.... Once the site gets going; I expect the shop to be busy during major holidays, so I was thinking about using LSI keywords that would relate to holidays ie: holiday gifts, gifts for women, for men, birthday gifts; I can go on, but I think you get the point.... What do you guys think? ps The most popular ways for making instant money is using FB ads; however, I can not risk spending $1k-$2k for ad testing, and there is no guarantee.... I could get lucky, and make good money, or I could completely be unlucky... and to be honest, I am not a skilled FB guru either.... Thanks
I dont understand how you say its non-niche and then say "holiday gifts" "gifts for women" "gifts for men". Does it not make it a "gift" niche shop? At this point I don't see any reason why would google value any site without a specialization / niche expertise over sites like amazon? So if you are planing a multi niche site or just a site selling anything you will have a hard time competing against top brands and big spending e-commerce portals.
If you're not comfortable with FB Ads, have you considered Solo Ads? I know this is a very sketchy area because there are only a handful of honest solo ad vendors that are out there while the majority are some what ineffective or just down right unscrupulous. But I've used UDIMI a lot because you can see the vendors ratings and popularity. As you know, you can start out small, say 100 - 300 clicks for a pretty low price and then scale up from there. All the best to you with your new endeavor!
Don't 'link build' as in - 'don't link-drop everywhere', the majority of sites are paid revenue platforms, and you'll never get placed, meaning your links will never be made 'active' - due to non-payment and a dislike of freeloading.
