Hey, my site Andy Daykin has a very low page rank, I was wondering what would be the best way to increase the page rank?
Backlinks from quality web pages which already have a Pagerank value and low to no outbound links. Also, make sure your internal link structure is proper to allow internal Pagerank distributation to do it's job. Remember, the visual Pagerank value we can see is updated every 4 to 6 months, behind the scenes Pagerank is updating real-time as Googlebot crawls the net.
As above - get links from pages with PR - the less links on the page linking to you, the better. Look in the link development forum for ideas on how to gain those links.
Time time and even more time... you'll see a lot of worthless private 'check my cat' - blogs have a nice PR..
To getting GOOD PR you have to gain good quality backlinks for that you can try directory submission, articles directory submission, social bookmarking e.t.c but it will also take time to show you real page rank.
Post good content that will make people want to link to you, also post comments in other people's blogs such as mine lol. And have a lot of forum account and tell people about your site, as long as you don't spam.
Spend lots and lots of time getting backlinks. No other easy way. After getting backlinks, wait lots of time to get full credit for said backlinks. In the meantime, work on the content of your site.
If you have a blog, getting a high PR is not really that important, but getting referrals from other blogs is. Join blogrush or that Yahoo service that lets related blogs be interlinked. That gets you eyeballs
