Best way is to make an annoying site that gives the user half the information they want, so they leave your site via the ads. Unfortunately this means there's a lot of that kind of site on the internet.
While Rumpled is correct, you need to be very good to master this. It is usually easier to make a website in niche that you like and write a lot about it, and choose a design that isn't very complex and then just put in Adsense. That's how I'm doing it. One navigation bar for navigation, one for adsense ads and other links.
Dont do so, if you are really serious about growing your adsense business online. This will reduce your blog quality and make an impression that it is designed for adsense only (which is not allowed by adsense TOS). You will loss the visitors, no one bookmark your site or visit again your site even they find your link somewhere in google or social media.
I'm being sarcastic a bit. Its true though, for a low traffic, niche, made-for-adsense site. Makes for a high CTR. Always ticks me off when I see people bagging someone else on here for having a CTR lower than 5% when I can never get mine over 0.5% - I have a couple of informative sites that were made before I'd even heard of adsense. For anything bigger and better you actually need decent content or better, users who hang around and generate content with each other. That's when you just need heaps of traffic to cancel out the inevitably lower CTR compared to a crap half-information site.
The best way is to find someone who makes a lot of money with adsense and jump them on the way back from the bank. The second best way is to get a website and do SEO like crazy until its popular.
@ Tearabite, i thought you were that Google Engineer, but he has better things to do such as deindexing non-useful sites. You can also make a website that people can use and naturally link to you because they liked your site. I mean sites like plentyoffish.com, or something.
It is very easy increase your traffic, earning from adsense will increase. Earning from Adsense is proportional to traffic.
First choose a good niche and then try to research to find out some good and heavy content for that niche and then make a site and earn money from adsense
