i''d like to buy some domain name but can find only services that offer EXPIRED or Dropped domains. What is the best service to use to get domain that is not expired?

Contacting the owner directly is your best option. Often people buy domains in the hope that someone will approach them with an offer to buy.

Don't emails get forwarded to the owner if you use the email in the whois?
I never tried this but I thought that's what happens..

You can always use Tdnam. I have a list of domains on Tdnam with pagerank, see the list in my sig.

When you buy the domains they will not expire but just change the owner to you. So no new registration-date.

By doing so its not even sure that you'll get the domain so why waste money? If the owner doesn't have any contact information up its less likely that they're interested in selling the domain..

Ok, I'm in the same boat too.

What if I can't contact the owner? What other options do I have?

None that I can think of. Except waiting for it to expire. ;)
