What is the best way to get back links to a law site?

I am trying to get back links to one of my legal sites and need some help. Can anyone help give me some sugestions?

Depends what kind of a site your legal site is. Do you offer a service or are you providing information? What kinds of people do you want to visit your site? Without really knowing exactly what your site is or who you want to visit it's hard to say how you can get backlinks/traffic.

 

My site is a personal injury informational site. Right now it has free legal information relating to personal injury law. I would like to have paying law firms list with the site so people will have a resource of great law firms to choose from each state in the country.

 

Any ideas on what .edu and .gov sites I could get backlinks from?
