What is the best for me to get 1000 visitor/day.

I don't have a forum and don't especially want to, but I would imagine that one of the best promotion techniques for a forum would be to:

Get sponsors to supply prizes for several contests. Not cheap prizes, but nice high quality prizes that someone might actually want. Maybe a ipod or iphone or custom site design with other second and third place prizes.

Then use your imagination to come up with monthly contests that will get traffic involved in trying to win.

Do this for at least 3 consecutive months but maybe even 6 months to a year. You need to form habits in people to visit the forum.

Oh and have good moderators to control the posts.

 

I went to your site and with the one post I saw there you wouldn't be able to keep 1,000 people coming back. I think only a small segment of society will be interested in your site.

You must have to start with a paid posting..and offer some prizes on the forum. Once the forum is active...you dont have to spend money.

Before it is going to get traffic you need to populate it. Hire a programmer from freelance sites and ask them to post threads and replies on your forum on all categories in your forum. It is cost effective also on freelance sites.

 

It is the hardest thing that I have ever tried to do! you do have a pretty cool domain name though! I like it.

Nice domain.. Just a month back, my forum got less than 150 UVs a day, and now I get close to 1000 UV... I'm telling you something, even in forums, if the title of a thread is informative or is news, then Google will surely pick it up..

Expand your forum a bit more too (check http://soccerpundits.net ) It has several categories even though it's only for soccer...

Submit your site to forum directories and sitemap to google.

LOL its very hard to get 1000 visitors a day. you need to give them a reason for joining. if you have alot of adds, that also tends to scares them away for new forums. I focus on the main page and give a reason for your guest to want to discuss something. another way is to join other sites with your site link in your siggy, or pay for adds on other forums like yours. I had the luxery of being a moderator on two large sites that had the same niche but finding new members is one of the largest battles I've had.
