What is the best way to generate traffic for free?

SEO is always best way to generate good traffic.

 

I think maybe i need to rephrase my question a bit. I am trying all (well most) of the methods to get free traffic. And although i'm getting a few extra visitors using all these methods i'm really looking to be getting hundreds/thousands of visitors... not just a few.

I know once the site is high in search engines it will be getting lots of good traffic but in the meantime isn't there a way to get loads of traffic for free? You probably need to come up with some creative ideas im guessing?

And the only way i can think of right now is if u submit your site to digg or something and get it to the front page (which is extremely hard lol).

 

organic , google .. just build quality backlinks after that then write more quality articles
