    In my opinion: Photoshop Elements, even an older version. It has everything a non-professional user will ever need. In modern times, everyone that does some activity online needs a photo editor for time to time, for resizing, small adaptations,... or to make virtual boxes or book covers. You can't go wrong with that one. Just my opinion, I am a happy user :)
