    Anything that happens off your site is known as offsite SEO, and since links are coming from another site to your site, a link wheel is an offsite technique.
    A link wheel is the process of creating 12 or so (or sometimes up to 116) new blogs/microsites on a particular topic. On each of those sites, you write 200 words of unique content, and include 1 link to your targeted site, and 1 link to one of your other blogs/microsites.

    Yeah link wheels are so last month, LOL. Well they have lost a little of their steam in recent months due to google changes, but if you build them correctly they can still be effective. Don't link your blogs together if you have shred hosting. And use different hosting accounts that have diff C class blocks. Also utilize a bunch of 2.0 sites too.

    Link wheel is nothing but wheel, in SEO terms website at focus point and all articles and press release and blogs linking to website and all these blogs and article and press release are associated to each other. Linkwheel utilized to very effective, but not anymore. In this technique, you make articles that relate to business and insert backlinks to web page.

    Link Wheel process is getting outdated now. Google is getting smarter and smarter each and every day. So you can't fool it by scattering your links in a chain process. It is better to get some natural way of high quality links from high quality websites. Because 1 high quality backlink is equal to 1000 low quality backlink.

    The best way to do a linkwheel is to examine your niche in terms of where the people you want to reach head to online. Reaching out to Facebook for instance is not enough, you also have to know where that part of the linkwheel needs to be located.
