We all know that the sitelinks is automatic (the links menu of specific result).
When we will look on facebook sitelinks we will see they are pretty bad:

i think the google creates it once the site start receiving more traffic.

so the most popular posts/pages are showing as site links. That is what i notice with most of the websites

Pages that have higher inbound links + traffic

Google seems to pick pages that have a lot of external links pointing to them and also a lot of links from the page to other pages on my sites. For example, major category pages. It doesn't always pick the best pages, but you can block them from being in your sitemaps in webmaster tools (>>Links>>Sitemaps>>block). Then in about a month a new page will take it's place.

I agree with priyankeshu i think the same it is the amount of traffic plus the backlinks that you have, the page with most backlinks and traffic becomes a sitelink .... no personal experience about this

Google creates the site links, there is nothing you can do to change this. I think it depends on what sections of you site get the most traffic. And then those sections will be picked as a sitelink.

With that in mind, if you want google to pick a certain category on your site as a site link, then try to funnel a lot of traffic the that section.

I think it has something to do with the way your links are structured. The combination of your anchor text and page title, I have 8 site links in one of my sites, 7 of the links are the anchor text I have (consistently) used throughout my site, and one was the title of a page. The one that was the title has just been replaced by another one (in the last couple of days), which is another anchor text from a different category (language).

I think it may have something to do with keeping the anchor text consistent throughout the site, but this is just a guess on my part.

    Cheers

It is depend on your site, and if you have more pages in your site, and some of them has more visits, at that time Google generate site link for your site, for visitors to access there required pages easily,

This is what I hear people saying about sitelinks.

Your site needs to be 1+ years old.
You need to have excellent internal linking.
    Backlinks will also help.
