    Hi,

Please help me with this..thank you..

I'm will be holding a mini workshop on IM for my local business owners soon. I'm planning to offer each of them a .com domain name and hosting. As this is my first time organizing a workshop, I'm having a hard time to determine the best way for me to deliver this offer to them. I will choose godaddy as the registrar. The participants will register the domain name on the day of the workshop because I plan to brief them on the correct way to choose a domain name before they actually register the domain name. These are my questions:

    1. Should I buy gift coupons?
    2. Do godaddy offer bulk gift coupon purchase?
    3. Is there any other way besides gift coupons?

Now on hosting..I plan to use hostgator reseller package:
    1. Is this the best way?
    2. What the "ideal" size of space and bandwidth to offer to each of the participant?

Thank you for your help and time!

I think GoDaddy gift cards would be suitable. You can contact their sales team for any deal for multiple domain purchases. And, make sure that your clients don't choose a premium domain ;-)

For hosting, you can find cheaper hosts around. And you can also negotiate a deal for multiple hosting plans. (try hostcircle $1 hosting, hostpapa, bluehost ... lot of them around)

Also, the ideal size depends on the client's requirements. I suppose you can give them a default account. Tell them to manage within that or get an upgrade if wanted.

thank you bprashanth.gi for the suggestions and ideas. What do you mean by "default" account? I suppose in hostgator reseller account we have to decide how much bandwidth and space to allot, right?

Hi, I hope your program goes great adn I think it will. there are sooo many people trying to find ways to increase their income or find a way to bring in some money.

But why don't you just do the registration for them? They will be paying a fee and you can just buy them in bulk and charge them for the one time fee of I think it is 8.99 or something. Go Daddy gives you 20 percent off when you register more than 75 dollars worthand you pocket the difference! You can register them for them you put their name in for the billing and owners and yourself as the technical. It works well. You can do the same with hostgator too. No need to show them about nameservers or anything. give them a brief about the merchandising and leave the techie stuff for you and your company to fill after the sale. put up their wp-admin type thing. tell them about plug ins put some up and let em go. you will still get plenty of tech work from it and they will be extremely grateful. I got a jillion calls about a one time 35 dollar fee for one year domain and hosting and a site that they had to put in the content. just upload a nice wp theme that fits their niche. I had to refund as I could not find anyone to put up the themes for me that I could trust and within my price range. ( I am still shaky on uploading themes, lol)

clickbank and amazon is really quick show em how to apply and get thier affiliate links. you can make nothing but bucks. hell sell one of those membership sites that pay 50 percent commission for their monthly membership fees. you can make tons of money working outside of the net.

good luck and sorry if i misunderstood the question.
