ya work on the content side more and some good backlinks, reg in forums n try addin sigs, submit site to directories. Dont try automated submissions to search engines s far as i know its a waste n most of them dont accept automated submissions.

Improve your link popularity. Exchange links with related sites. Do article submissions and put your site on your resource box and your site will be crawled. You just need patience in doing this things and eventually your site will be listed to search engines.
