I have been surfing the net alot and come up with some many hosting providers that it is hard to pick... So i ask you experts here at digital point, what is your opinion on the best value hosting ? cloud hosting? hostgator? 1&1? Other?
After my opinion , if you need a reliable webhosting for a project, HostGator is definitely a option to consider . Company was founded in 2002 and since then , they offered services for a huge number of clients. Packages prices are affordable and servers are stable.
Hello, I'm using Godaddy.com more then 1 year, I'm extreamly satisfied with the hosting plan, they have alot of promotions like: -30% for a domain name purchase and many more. The support is 24/7. Regards.
I'd personally like to recommend Hawkhost. They're a bit expensive but their hosting is brilliant. If you're looking for some decent cheap web hosting, try Ideastack. Definitely don't go with 1&1, I've had bad experiences with them in the past.
Used Dreamhost for many years. Slightly more expensive than some others and not liked by everyone, but I've never had any problems with them.
I've been using HostGator for about seven years now. Whenever there's a problem, you can go onto their live chat and interact with support right away, who are usually pretty switched-on and will help you resolve whatever fairly quickly. They're also incredibly cheap and offer solid security and almost 100% uptime. Can't go wrong with HG.
There are many good sites for best value web hosting services. In my opinion sitesgoogle is better than others. Try out sites google, it is a very good and free at all.
Avoid anything that offers "unlimited" storage or bandwidth. It is basically an invitation to a bogged down service with all sorts of speed restrictions or overselling issues. You pay for quality in the hosting industry. If something seems to good to be true, it generally is. I would avoid companies like Hostgator, 1&1, Godaddy, and pretty much any host that offers unlimited or absurdly high limits. You will either be put onto a really slow server, your account will be limited as soon as you need to do anything serious, and the service will just plain suck. Not to mention that when you finally realize you want to leave, it becomes difficult due to the slowness of the service and potential lock-in. My advice would be to pick a host that offers sensible storage and bandwidth limits, and doesn't excessively oversell like all the other hosts, as these hosts will provide a much faster service that is much more reliable. A company with decent support is also important once you start doing serious things.
