hello.. i would like to know if someone knows the best unvi for graphic design price? locatoin? PPL opinien? i saw fullsail.edu ,, so whos have better than it prefer the place in the USA Nas
I graduated from AIU-Online. I had some of the best instructors in the country. If you are good at teaching yourself outside of a classroom then online schools are the best. I plan to continue my Masters at Miami International Art Institute. AIU cost me about $30K. MIAI will be about $50K. Overall, I would do it again.
umm sorry dude i prefer to see my teacher face to face lol coz when iam in my bedroom i can't do anything and feeling sleepy
No problem, some people can and some can't. I wish you luck on finding a college you can attend. I do have to ask though, how do plan on designing in a room if you feel tired and sleepy? Doesn't sound very productive unless your computer is in the living room
I'm currently in the Communication Design program at the University of North Texas. Seeing as how you're in Houston this would probably be a good call. The program is very work intensive and competitive though. For instance, as freshman you have to go through an entry review over some of your work in design I and II and drawing I and II. I think when I went through it there was about 180 people but only about 70 or so got in. Then as sophomores you go through another review where the faculty reviews your work from typography, graphic design, and color rendering. From here they drop about 20 people. The key is that they only let you move forward if you are ready for it. Tuition is about $3,500 a semester. Oh and they were also named best school at last weekends DSVC student show (its the only national student show in the country). Out of 2500 entries, 184 of them were selected for the show and 72 of those 184 were from UNT. If you want I can send you some links to portfolios of recent graduates to give you an idea of the quality of the students work. You should definitely check it out.

Well, there is: Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) - in Minneapolis Otis - in Los Angeles School of the Visual Arts (SVA) - New York Columbia College Chicago - in Chicago I actually went to Columbia in Chicago and I thought that it was a great school. Honestly, I am sure they are all pretty good. You will get out of it what you put into it. So I guess just pick your city If none of those look good, many major universities offer degrees in Graphic Design and you can see a list here.
Graphic arts is one of the best fields to learn online. All your software is on your computer, as well as tutorials all over the web and a lot of schools do have great online classes where you login and talk to other students even critique artwork!
