I am going to invest in building a website starting in Jan, I was thinking a music site sort of on a soundclick.com level, or a adult sites like adultspace.com or livejasmine.com. You can kind of see the scale of quality and features I am looking at when it comes to all the different types of sites I have mentioned. So basicly with any type of site, im looking at getting the BEST features possible, I just dont know what would be the best route to take right now as I am willing to invest. So I guess the information I am looking for is a run down on the best way to go and how to do so, when I make my choice I want to be knowledgeable about whats out there.I dont want to get anything made that is not popular right now. I know I want some different and that will stand out, I would really appreciate any information and guidance.
Video sites rocked in 2010! And this should be grow up continue in 2011 also. Try to make a video site as I suggest.
I think News, Article and Web Page sharing sites rock in 2011 ...... bcoz SEO industry growing these days and every seo professional try to find new submission sites..
How much do you have to sink into this project? Video sites are great but they are expensive to get moving. Do you have money to invest in marketing efforts or are you doing this on your own?
Well adult is always going to be popular. Music sites can be good but there are a lot of them, so you need to make sure that yours is better than all of the other ones. A few other popular sites are things that are funny and catchy where the users make the content, like fml.com Just a few ideas.
I am looking at mobile focused websites, local websites, and video to grow in 2011. More and more small businesses are getting online or becoming more active as they see higher ROI's. Small businesses make up about 80% of local advertising in traditional media and could be a huge boon to a webmaster savvy enough to attract local users to a website and keep it maintained. we are seeing this trend improving in Denver, Southern Cali, New York, DFW, Austin and a few other cities. Also look for faux-local websites like thrillist and groupon to continue to thrive.
I think services for social networks would be going up, like facebook games or Twitter web apps thatbpeople could use
Honestly - if any of us knew we wouldn't tell you. Just look at what's hot and make a site. I think social media and technology are great niches.
I recon tech blogs are still going to be the most popular throughout next year, new advancements in apple and google products are starting to build up the keyword lists
I think SEO sites are great and I don't think Video sites is an good idea unless you have a few thousand a month to spend on a dedicated server..
i created a site for indians in december 7,,, within 1 month my site is getting around 100 uv from google... so target indian market because it don't have much competetion as in US market...
