I'm not really a big fan of these automated Twitter tools, and have heard from many people that the service didn't actually get them any followers. My best advice is to customize your Twitter page, add people that follow your competition or similar subjects, and ONLY update with content that will be of interest to your followers. Once you reach about 1000 solid followers, you'll appear as a more trusted source on Twitter and you'll naturally attract followers with similar interests.

Don't forget to add "Follow Me" buttons on all blogs, websites, and social networks you are a member of. It's not that hard to grow your Twitter following, just don't start spamming or tweeting MLM-related updates!

I can not offer you a tool but I can give you a useful tip!
1-Decide on 5-10 most relevant keywords about your subject
2-Search people on twitter with those keywords
3-Follow the people who have the most followers (500+ recomended)

and thats it! A lot of RELEVANT people will see YOU and they are those people who like to follow!

    good luck ;)

    * Don't forget that you can follow maximum of 2000 people until you have more followers than that!

I have made software that makes it easier to get followers on Twitter. Basically what it does is searches for users by keywords you enter and follows them. You then hope that each user follows you back, and most of them do 99% of the time.

Not used the tools, I just search for relevant users and follow the ones who look like followers, I aslo outsourced to a service on dp, paid $2, that was well worth the money.

Thanks for the tips. I am currently testing twollow, and I find it very interesting.

The free account let's you pick five keywords, and doing so, will let you auto-follow people who uses those keywords on twitter. The premium account is $20 a month, and it let's you have 20 keywords.

I am testing the free account.

It's fairly expensive, but do you think it's worth the money?

I find tweetlater to be pretty useful, lets you schedule future posts.

I'm beginning to dislike twitter though, its true that its exploding in popularity but the amount of spam in there is unbelieveable, in the marketing and SEO depaqrtment anyway.
