I don't know any tools like that, maybe it exists. But if you want my opinion, the best tools are your hands to exchange link after link with choosen partners who propose valuable sharing with same keywords in the same niche. All automatic solutions are known to be under estimated by google and at the end unuseful.

I guess there are tools like the IBP arelis.com . I haven't used it as I am very much doubtfull about it but my friend said she got many exchanges with the help of it.

I am wondering whether reciprocal relevent exchanges are better than one way directory links?

    Any answers?

In my opinion reciprocal niche link exchanges is still better if you are really after of increasing your site's rank on the search engines. The reason for this is the latent symantic indexing of search engines. If you just want to increase your site's traffic, one-way links from directories can help.

Reciprocal links are worth almost nothing to search engines these days and link exchanges are useless, so I would advise against them. You need one-way links to your site. Here are some linkbuilding resources to help you.

I disagree. I receive hundreds of visitors/month from sites I exchange links with. It is not only about search engines. Exchanges are a very small part of my link building, but I am always on the look out for quality sites in my field to exchange links with.

As has already been mentioned, automatic exchange programs are not really worth your time in most cases. There are sometimes sites for a particular niche market that have exchanges specific to that market, and that can have some value, but stay away from broad link exchange markets.

When you do find a good exchange, you can use a free online tool such as
    manage your links
to keep track of them and monitor whether they are going up in PR, Backlinks, ect. If you see them start going down, then you may want to end your exchange with them as it might be because of a "bad neighborhood" classification they obtain from these said link exchanges. Thats why I use that tool to monitor them, as I try to be very careful who I exchange links with.

    hey vishal!!
    do non-reciprocal link building..
dnt look for any tool... do it manually ..search sites related to ur industry and do them mail..........keep track manually.. result will boost ur ranking!!!!!
u can use tool only for checking reciprocation like: linkpopularity.com
    and search partners from linkpartners.com
    :)

Getting one-way incoming links is the best way. and requesting them manually is the most authentic and efficient way.

other automated emailers/link request generators are available . but they are almost similar to spam. if you are serious about your reputation and quality. i'd suggest that you stay away.

although a try is always good - u can learn as to whats an error like ;)

I would never trade manual link exchange to any software. Make sure your link partners are relevant and don't take into account only technical part of the question. It is ultimately the visitors you are working for!

One way links are still the best way to go...if you can get them. Good luck with your link building.

If you do it right link exchanging is definitely worthwhile, especially three+ way ones where it is not obvious to google that you are making such an arrangement. But I've had experience that many link exchange partners can be dishonest, which is why I created this free online tool:
    linkexchangechecker.com
Every day it will check to make sure they comply to their agreement with you and check that their link to you does not have a "nofollow" relation, or that their page does not have a "noindex" or "nofollow" meta. It will also inform you if their pagerank changes. These are just some of the nasty tricks these webmasters play.
