well, lets say we will build a gaming site, so the domain for example was "something.com", then the site will get indexed after couple of days for the keyword "something"... now if we want to index our gaming site that called "something.com" for high keyword like "games" keyword, then how can we do that please ?? any ideas are welcome, thanks
You need to first have your Meta tags and title in place Title : needs to have word called something Meta keywords : needs to have your keyword Meta Description : Also needs to have a keyword Now key when you fill in above, Don't stuff , just add one meaning Title , Meta-keyword or Meta-descp. should contain the word "something" only once Now please follow the rules also :- Title : shouldn't be more then 10 words Meta keywords : Max. 1000 characters (Utilise all of them - but dont over limit above 1000char) Meta descriptin : Max. 250 characters (Utilise all of them - but dont over limit above 250char) That was all about ON-PAGE OPTIMIZATIOn Now build some back links (roughly 25 to 50) with proper / perfect anchor text "something" and back link with your URL from other sites. This is OFF-PAGE OPTIMIZATIOn , now once you have backlinks from 25 to 50 sites pointing to you with your specific keyword "something" placed Anchor text then you will have the desired result in 1 to 3 months
First of all, you'll never get even within the first 10 pages of the 'games' SERP unless you spend thousands of dollars per month on advertising. The first step of any optimization effort is going to be to strategically choose your key phrases. You want key phrases that have a good amount of searches per month, but have competition that you can realistically compete with. 'games' is not a realistic key phrase for you to compete in.
