I hope I have the right forum for this but here goes. I've recently had some trouble with the dvd making software on our computer at home. I was making data discs for my home videos of my kids and family, the software was saying it was recording successfully and the first couple I checked were fine. But the last 3 discs didn't work and of course I didn't check them because the software said they were recorded successfully. The problem is I deleted all of the video files because of this. I need to know what is the best software for recovering files, and if there is any free software that will recover the files without having to make payments. Any help will be very appreciated. If you are using windows - just go to the recycle bin and restore them. If you have also emptied the recycle bin and used your computer since - you will probable have lost them.
