I've used this before and from my experience it's very slow, I never got past the ripping stages before giving up.
So can Nero copy copyrighted DVDs or what? I'm pretty sure I've tried it before and it wouldn't let me...
Nero is the ferrari of burn programs. For someone only looking for a software to burn a cd or dvd ones in a while nero might be too feature full. There's a handful good freeware that can do the same as that. Check out this review of the nero suite if you are interested to read what it can do on top of burning media.
It all depends on which types of DVDs you wish to copy; regular or blu-ray. It also depends upon if you are looking for a free or paid software solution. For free solutions for copying DVD to blank DVD or to rip DVDs to your hard drive, I would suggest DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. For a "paid" software DVD copy solution that copies DVD-5 and DVD-9 DVDs, I recommend 1Click DVD Copy Pro. It has a longer development history making it very stable. For Blu-ray copy to your "free" solution use MakeMKV. For a paid Blu-ray disc to DVD solution I recommend DVD Cloner 7.
I recommend you use Blu-ray Ripper/Burner for free trial software, it can convert all Blu-Ray DVDs and easily and quickly! I hope it can help you: blu-raydiscripper.org
