What is the best shopping cart software for me?

    Hello,
I would like to sell printing services like business cards, brochures etc.
People will buy them on my site, pay for the item, then they receive an email with some order number and location on the site where they can upload their designs which I can get printed at local printer.

I checked a few cart software, OSCommerce, ZenCart etc but could not find one with the exact match of my requirements.

    Could you gurus suggest something?

    Have a wonderful 2010 !!

cards, brochures selling trhough online is good idea , you can use open source to build the e-commerce websites like joomla, Drupal, wordpresss, My suggestion is Drupal, its very user friendly and SEO friendly. building cost also very low. so you can try it

You really need to do that custom but you can kluge magento or prestashop to get that done in a timely manner.

    hope that helps,
    Nigel

Well it all depends upon your needs that seems to be a little special so you will probaly have to have a custom solution made for you by a web developer.

You can try Magento or Joomla. They offer more customization as per your requirements.THough you need to have some good webmaster skills inorder to make it work as you need. Also make sure you get it tested from professionals since you've mentioned that you would be accepting payments through your website.Security should be your prime concern here.

    Yes, template look close.
Friend is trying the interspire 5.5.2 starter ed (script version), still not getting any new info from him.Come back to this thread later.

In view of price or cost, that's another story.
    Both are great.:)

osCommerce, Magento, Joomla with Virtuemart, wordpress and plugins for ecommerce OR use Interspire. I love interpsire the most. Focus on selling your goods as digital and physical products and just use one of the various systems out there
