What is the best server control panel?

What is your suggestion and recommendation?

1. Ensim
2. Plesk
3. Helm
4. CPanel

What is the best based on your opinion? Scale 1 to 10

 

I use Ensim on one server and Ibiz on another.
I like them both.

 

Have only used CPanel, no complaints.

 

I use Plesk in all my server including my FreeBSD, Linux and Windows 2003 server. For me it's a good control panel because of the simplicity and robust function.

But I'm eyed on CPanel because of the Fantastico function that ease the installation of software script on the server without hassle.

 

Ibiz? Where do you get them. Please let us know what good about it.

 

Only ever used Cpanel and can't complain. Definately seems to be the most popular.

I think cpanel is easy to work with.

 

Today, I set up one Linux server (www.sks6.org) to use CPanel. Look nice and easy to handle. Maybe I try all the function first and let you all know what my comment on it.

psoft.net has probably the easiest interface around... recently bought by komodo... Cpanel IMO sucks. Its a pain to use compared to psoft's H-sphere appliance... but I guess its all what you are used too.

 

have't used any but CPanel and no copmlains about that

 

i love CPanel, its so easy to use

 

Didn't try all of them but so far CPanel is my favorite!

 

I don't even know that psoft.net has the better control panel. Anyway.. I might try it later on. Thanks.

Apperantly direct admin is that popualr..lol

I've used plesk,direct admin and Cpanel..among the three i would say i love Cpanel

 

SSH + my brain!. Seriously, I hate control panels. I can do more work faster with vi, awk, sed, perl, etc. than I can with a gui.

But if I had to choose one, from a server owner's perspective, it would have to be H-sphere which wasn't listed.

After years of working over the internet, had made experience with many Control panels.
These control panels most of you know most you don’t. But I would like to share my experience in details about each control panel.

(swsoft.com/), home site of Plesk, Virtuozzo control panels. Plesk is the worlds qualified control panel software in based over Windows OS. Their software is totally stable and qualified in easy management. Varieties of controlling you sites are provided. Helm is the most similar software such as plesk . Plesk now can operate on both OS’s (Microsoft, Linux).

Virtuozzo , again another product of swsoft , has a reputation in VPS (Virtual Private Server) control panel software. Another full stable release of swsoft which gives access to users to control their Virtual Private Servers. Nothing like it allows users to burst their ram usage.

(cpanel.net/), how site of Cpanel Control Panel. Cpanel is the other leading market owner of the web based operating control panel’s. Cpanel has the most varieties in the operating you website and even creating it. With a cpanel you could create a web hosting company with many abilities that you can even imagine. WHM (Web Host Manager). Allows you manage your sites, your hosts and your server.

Fantastico is an addition module of cpanel. This unleashes your problem in installing some particular scripts. It’s a module that allows automatically allow you to install some typical scripts for you, only one click and your scripts are installed.

Rvskins , cpanel has the opportunity more then other Control panels in them integration. With Rvskins, you could provide skins for your cpanel WHM. Many different designs etc. Mostly hosting companies or companies that use cpanel provide it to their customers so that they could choose their color of them in WHM.

Cpanel has lots of R&D in their panels. They have lots of projects in Beta mode. Such as their Game control panel integrated to cpanel. With this you could install your server network with only buy clicking a tick on the control panel Cgamepanel.

The only thing that cpanel has a problem face up with is that has security tweaking problems in it , because of this , it is not stable yet , as for to notice in more details , cpanel is a customizable product like Linux this gives them opportunity to the users to create in their own needs.

(ensim.com/) the home site of Ensim Control Panel, ensim is highly secure in the use. Its structure of use is similar to Plesk and helm. But its security graphing is much betters then any other. For this reason its structure is different hackers would have hard rough time in discovering its methodology of how its use what is the backdoor of the product...


(psoft.net/) the home of H-shpere control panel. This panel is nearly the newest in the market but has an extra ordinary ranking in the market. The panel is easy based usage has lots of functions but still needs to be engineered on it. Theme addition and the colorful structure provide people to use in many jobs.

This is how far of my experience I hope people got the picture what is what,

And my review I would only tell everyone to only choose for Linux: Cpanel for windows: Plesk.
