Im looking for an indepth guide to SEO, covering all aspects of SEO. Im not a beginner so i dont need a 'SEO for dummies' book, but neither am I a master yet, im looking for something somewhere in between. Also, it doesn't matter whether its UK or US, just as long as its English. Any Suggestions?
I've had great success with SEO Elite from Bryxen Software - got me page 1 rankings for all 4 of my main keyword phrases in the auto accessories market and one of the phrases returned over 6 000 000 search results. It is a few years old and I haven't looked at anything new for SEO lately but as those keywords are still on page 1 I don't see the need to. Whatever guide/package you choose, linking still plays a very important role. Chow chow,Kevin
The art of SEO - Theory in practice. Very good book - i recommend it to anyone. I would also recomend you read "The basics of SEO" from SEOmoz - You can download it off there site as a PDF. Even if you have some experience in the SEO field its definitely worth having a read.

I did see a new one at the store but I forgot the name. Its very new, which is great, contains the latest and greatest. But I have also heard good things about The Art of Seo book.
I just got SEO, an hour a day by jennifer grappone. very informative and helpful..more at the beginner-intermediate level though. provides step by step instructions on getting your site started and off to the right path properly
