What is the best redirect if you can't use 301 or 302?

Hey guys I am not being funny but has anyone considered the fact that natural website changes occurr?

Its like with any index the probability of there being some inconsistancy is always there. The search engines expect this, it promotes normal behaviour and shows that your website is the real deal and not participating in dodgy SEO. Every website has down time and pages move, change names evrynow and again. Its the search engines job to index your website, you should'nt force it with a redirect. Deal with it and move on.

Finally the major search engines filter 404's as a rule. the fact that 404 is a server response to identify that there is a problem with that resource does not discount your position in the index. Occasionally books fall of the shelf. If they dont return then this is when it causes an issue and the index is cleared for that resource. It really is this simple.

    Just sharing with you!
