    Read the terms and conditions it all depends on how much the renew will be, some registrars like to slap you with 1 year free with some package but like 20$ for renew the year after.

    Ya definitely check the terms. Yahoo used to run a promotion where you got 1 year free then it was $50 a year after that. Im sure many people had an "oh shit" moment when they realized they forgot to cancel when they saw that charge.

    I like the 5 free "lifetime domain" registrations if you have 5 domains or websites that you intend to keep forever.....overtime will save you money plus you don't have the hassle of renewing.

    But as others have said, Devil is in the details....read the fine print.

    I can tell you from experience, all hosting company's will offer you great deals to switch over....very competitive business...shop around and look on our site for coupons and cashback.
