    Who told you those lies? Java is not open source and there are a lot of programming needs it can't be used for.

    .Net isn't a language, it's a framework used by a few different languages.

    Oki guys!There is not best programming language.

    If you want to make hardcore desktop apps,then go with c++
    If you want easy apps making net connections go with java or c# or whatever else.
    Every language have its purposes,so it's pointless to fight.

    Do you have any programming background in past??? Disgust saying right.. there is no "best" programming language. different tools work better for different jobs. I think php is best if you're looking at a server-side language.

    I find languages depend really on what you are doing. I say to heck with all of them and go Wordpress, lol With all the plugins you cant go wrong.
