I hope I can see your blog. Anyway, it depends on how you would your blog to look like? Blogs with Adsense are better when the ads are on top of each post. However, some don't like their blogs to look "ugly" with ads. You don't have to market anything except your blog, but you need high traffic to maintain good earning. For affiliate marketing, you must learn how to make a killer post that you can make good money of it. You also need to understand how to market them. It takes a good sales talk, and building a list.
