Meta tags description is pretty usefull. You should not neglect your page title. It also will help alot. Im not sure I understand this question. Title are usually created using <title>Your Title</title> in the <head> tag. Here is a short example:

thanks for the advices...ill look on them now.. still new at this SEO thing but im really on to it.. but still looking for a way or a book to really hone my skills and become better..i have heard the seobook but i dont have the money to buy it..is there an alternative so that i can really learn the basics and from there build it up
