What is the best book that you know of to get into the heart of PPC? Specifically something new that discusses click-fraud . . .

This is widely regarded as one of the best books on Google adWords, but it also touches an the other PPC providers, and has a lot of general marketing info too - http://www.perrymarshall.com/google/.

Don't be put off by the cheesy sales letter; the book's actually very good!

Thanks for the input - I agree that this is one of the best sources. Our true issue is with many of our SEO/SEM clients. These clients can eat up a lot of time with the same old questions. It would be nice to have a book to recommend that is somewhat timely and definitely easy to read. When you get numerous "3 minute calls" from clients it really starts to add up . . . looking for a good solution.

Perry Marshall's is pretty good! The guy knows his stuff...yes, even though he has the cheesy newsletter. I think Rosalind Gardner has a book out too that touches on using PPC, but Im pretty sure there isnt anything in there about click fraud.

    hehe...this is great:

In the first minute of the demo, you hear the lady clear her throat. What a quality production from Google! hehe

Everybody knows the "Dummies" series so it might be easier to get a client to read it. Pay Per Click for Dummies by Peter Kent is a good one. In addition to Adwords, it discusses many other PPC options. Easy reading and very approachable to someone not familiar with SEO. :)
