I first started using Google just like everyone else but now I am using MSN because it costs less and it gives me better ROI.

i still think adwords is the best, it is expensive if you dont know what your doing. But research and do it properly then it will work wonders, try the ebook in my signature, its only $7

I'm thinking of getting into PPC advertising. Is Microsoft adCenter available in the UK?

You will need to test each of the engines to see which works best for your niche. Often times your returns will vary engine to engine based on the product, service and offer.

Speaking from a very general perspective, Google has traditionally given the best returns as it has offered the most rich set of tools to test, track and optimize your campaigns. Yahoo just changed their platform to be more like Google and MSN has some interesting tools of their own as well.

In a nutshell, test all engines to see which ones give you the best returns and then shift the dollars to the top performers.

    Hope that helps :)

Hello. I set up clients all the time with PPC campaigns. I recommend to them to get their feet wet with Google AdWords. Usually, they get excited about the results then can move into something else. Microsoft adCenter is good because there's not a lot of competition so your CPC is very reasonable. However, if you are in a niche market you may trouble generating the clicks you want.

Any one of the majors can provide a good return, I've had success with Google and MSN but it's worth trying them all on a small scale to find the places you can hit hardest.

as long as you carefully track your results you should be successful in the long run.

    good luck!

You should try some bum marketing, i know it seems slow, but the majority of people look at the natural results on the left hand side, at least the "interested" people and not the buyers...

but you can TURN those "interested" people into buyers...

I think you can choose YPN or Google Adwords
YPN because Yahoo gets more traffic than google ..

hmm..That's right, I think the reason why I choose YPN is because it has good traffic rather than google adwords(correct me if I'm wrong).By the way, by reading to all post in this topic,it seems that google adwords is the cheapest and effective PPC programs.hmm...

I think if your buidget is a bit "small" you should think about other "drive traffic to your website" ways. MSN, GOOGLEor adbrite as almost the same, but all of them needs lost of money to take good result and to payoff.

Bidvertiser is the best! At times they can pay over $1.30 per click?! but mostly for me its around $0.25 per click which is great.
