You want to experiment to make your ads non-instrusive. This is important for keeping your blog image credible.
I don't know if I'm the best to look at but you can look at my Personal Blog and check out what I do. If you have any questions just PM me.
I like them best in the sidebar. But I also had some little index links along the top that were not too intrusive. For a while I had a big Adsense block at the top of my blog which got a lot of clicks but visitors complained. Now I have taken Adsense off and I have Havads.
yes i didnt put adsense adds on my blog yet, i m looking for suitable place to put it...thanks for your concern. @ bowie! you have a blog with nice template but i think putting adds in posts looks a little bad coz your readers considers your blog made fror adsense only, how many clicks you get daily btw ??
I don't have a lot of traffic yet. I am just a copy cat in a way. The big blogs that I read have the ads floating like this so I figure I'll do it if it's not too crazy. I know they seem to look bad but a lot of bloggers use this method.
Check out www.johnchow.com just copy his layout and you're guaranteed to make money, if you have traffic. He made over 10k last month just from his blog.
He makes maybe 1,000 of that in adsense. His 10K comes from various sources. So he's only using 10% of his earnings on adsense. He is one of the lucky ones.
yeah i know about johnchow, his blog is PR 7 thts y he is enjyong 10 k @ bowie yes i also witnessed some famous blogs doing like this, but i think first i have to maintain good PR then i'll thought about adds coz adds are useless if you have less trafic, & trific depends upon PR
