What is the best Open Source Alternative for Flash Macromedia?

    I think swish still has a free version, but I haven't checked recently.

    Yah but I think it is only a trial version.. What I need is totally free software.. an open source most likely..

    javascript. Basically all flash is is a customized javascript with a proprietary vector image format.

    Gecko, Opera and Webkit rendering engines all support both javascirpt and SVG, so knock yourself out!
