I'm not talking about keyword density per page. I want to know how many keywords and keyphrases are enough for a solid SEO strategy? Any limits or the more you have, the better it for SEO? Just curious if 2 short-tail keywords and 6-10 long-tail keywords are enough for a website with approximately 100 pages?
Do these following for your keywords in all webpages 1. Best option is to focus one or two keywords for a single page and some main keywords related to your site. 2. Make some of the keywords in BOLD 3. Make some of the keywords links pointing either to the same page or to different page(of course related to the word) of your site. 4. Please do give meta decription..becuase that acts as your ad copy. If it is better more people will click your link from the search results. Also try to add something related to your keywords in that. Best option is give unique description for each page otherwise google will page content from your page and it might not be appropriate.( I learned it the hard way).
No such thing. Google will not pay attation to the "number of keywords for a whole site", so you also don't need to pay attation to it. Good luck!
Two or three keywords are quite enough and seo strategy is same as article submission, link building with relative sites, social bookmarking etc.
The number of organic search keywords I recommend you target per page is one. Surprised? Now, understand, it's not possible for you to optimize for one keyword without having other words on the page. I'm not advocating pages that contain one word, but I am advising you to have one primary focus on the page, one concept that the page is about.
I think you can write for your visitors and the search engines as well. I would stick to 5 keywords or less for a website. If you are using wordpress I would create 5 categories based on those keywords and write my content accordingly. A website that has content that is way too broad is going to have a difficult time holding a top position for any keyword. Take wikipedia for example. They rank well when the rest of the pages for that keyword stink, but find a keyword with high competition and you most likely won't see them
