The most competitive niches are the best paying niches. Just to name the few niches: hosting, insurance, loans, finance services, credits, travel, hotels. But is is not the bright idea to use adsense on this kind of sites, because affiliates are paying way more on those niches
I think insurance and health are some of the best niches for Adsense but it's a very competitive niche.
the standard ones have to do with basic human needs, like health, love and relationship, money, etc etc. adsense is all dependent on traffic and theres no shortage of that, just choose something that you won't get bored with maintaining. cheers
Toss seems to really know what he's talking about, listen to him! As for using adsense, well I guess you can use it while searching for affiliates offers, because finding affiliates offers and putting them on your pages is more trouble than just letting adsense decides whatever ad they want to show for each page. I was always wondering when a affiliate platform will release something a bit like adsense, you put a generic code, and they display the relevant affiliates program for your page, no need to apply for the each affiliates program, etc. SO much hassle I remember with CJ.com having to apply to affiliates programs, getting refused or allowed, then choosing the graphic, then adding the code to my site. So much trouble, especially when you don't make one sales!
