What is the Best News Theme for WordPress

Hello friends, I am currently working on a new project.
The project is a news site.
Can you suggest me the best news theme for the site.
the site currently uses Genesis framework with News child theme.

But the news site feel is not coming.

I want this site to be accepted for Google News too.


Suggest both Free and Premium theme.
I will pay upto $100 for a quality theme.

 

I forgot to say another thing: Genesis News child theme doesn't use optimized image for post thumb in archive and homepage, so the Homepage size is increasing unexpectedly.
If I list 15 posts in homepage, then the homepage size becomes 1.6 MB
I need homepage less than 1 mb (Preferred <750 KB)

 

I used the news child theme for a while (I'm on Genesis too)...it's a really cool theme...if you set it up hwo they have on the demo it will have more of a news feel

 

I have 10 categories and in that way it's not possible to arrange all 10 categories.

 

Have you tried the Magazine Theme? It could be tweaked to look like a news site

I want to know real user experience about News style themes.
