What is the best monetization method in IM?

Until you have your own product, Amazon and ClickBank are good options.

Amazon has that in-built trust factor which really helps with customer sales. Sure the commission rate starts very low but I find that many customers buy multiple items from Amazon which means that you can quickly move up to a better commission rate.

ClickBank commissions are really good but you need to really look at the product and its sales page before you decide to promote it. I have found that many vendors will send a review copy if you can send them a link to your site. They can thus see that you are the real deal (that your niche matches their product). I then have much more confidence in recommending the product.

The only problem is, one domain will rarely be a money maker, you will need many domains, over several niches. Whenever I see anyone claiming they make good with amazon, it is normally when they have like 50-100 stores. I do not recall ever reading about anyone having one amazon store claiming to make $10,000/mo, and they should have trust since they pay next to nothing, even though you get increases along the way, your commission is almost nothing compared to the number of products you have to sell, and amazon could not reach all those buyers without those many thousands of amazon affiliates doing the work for them at almost no cost, and that is why you need many, many stores to make anything, and I assure you that you have to sell a boat load of products to earn a little bit, so if you sold $10k in product, you may earn less then $1,000, assuming 10% comm, not as easy as it sounds...
