    Hello

Im a total beginner when it comes to this google adwords thing, and i need to know how to track all the uniques, clicks, and sales that will come from my adwords campaign.

Do i have to use a separate page dedicated to this task or is there any other productive ways to track your campaigns..?

    Thanks

You can try to use Google Analytics.

The best way to track the performance of your Google ads is to use the conversion code that google give you in the members are of the adwords system

How it works is that you add a small piece of code to the page that people go to when they have taken an "action" after they have clicked on your ad.

To take a simple example, suppose I call an "action" entering their name and email in a web form on my page. I then place the Google tracking code on the page people are sent to when they have entered their name and email and clicked the "send" button. This page will typically say "thank you, you details have been entered ...etc"

The Google tracking code will count how many times someone who has clicked on your ad has filled in your web form

When you go to your members area in Adwords you will see that an extra few colums have appeared which tells you your conversion figures

However you have to set up this system first before it will work. This is very simple to do and its just a case of filling in a few blanks in a form and the code is automatically generated for you. All you have to do is put the code in the right page for tracking purposes
