I can write fairly well, in my opinion . However, my problem is I do not know the best method to get people to actually read it. Specifically, when writing an article is it best to just submit it to every article site (like ezine)? And if so, what sites are best to submit to? Thank you.
Just write good content and people will read it. Don't worry about that. Just make your resource box interesting enough to click through to your links. Ezines is pretty good but can be difficult to get accepted. It depends on what the topic is.
in order to get people to read your article, you must have a title to begin with that attracts attention or gives people an impression that the article is resourceful. use your primary keyword to write the title of the article. begin with the benefit and a brief overview of what you are talking baout and at the end, put a resource box saying something like for more information or to learn about xxxx in greater detaila, visit so and so. it alctually all depends on your writing style, well written artciles are usually read by people and certain % of them will click to visit your main site as well
Thanks for the help. Should you go for trial and error to find what works best? Im just unsure how to know when something is working better or worse. Obviously I can look at page traffic but Im not how to pinpoint who came from where and how many people saw it, etc etc.
Ezine Articles is the number one Article directory for a reason. I still get traffic from articles I wrote two years ago. I have also had articles on EzineArticles show up on page 1 in just a couple of days after they were accepted. Just make sure you pay attention to the Editorial Guidelines. They are picky but it is worth jumping through the hoops in the long run.
