What is the best marketing strategy for an online store?

    Within the next two weeks my online store will be ready to go!

    However, when it comes to marketing I need some advice on what is the best form of free (or cheap) marketing.

    As my site is an online shop, I don't want it covered in links to other people's sites, hundreds of banners etc etc.

    In the past I have had a couple of forums that only attracted a moderate amount of regular posters.

    What is the best way to drive traffic to a site?

    then you need to start networking on health related forums, include a link into your sig, start giving health tips etc. Google for "health"+forums

    I guess SEO is the best thing. It covers all: directory submission, article submission, social bookmarking, blog submission, blog comments, press releases and onpage optimization.
