I'm now getting serious with blogging and now creating a new blog. Question, what is the best 'gadget' for blogging that 'compatible' with wordpress? I don't want to carry around my old and lowbatt notebook , I'm looking for small 'gadget' where I can create a draft and post a new content to my blog wherever I'm. I think the Nokia E61 is the best 'gadget' because it have thumboard and wifi, but can I post a new content from it? I like the palm TX, but it lack of thumboard, while Treo 650 lack of wifi. Or any other gadget that I should consider?
ANY PDA ? maybe try iMate http://www.imate.com/t-DETAILS_JAQ4.aspx or http://www.cnet.com.au/mobilephones/pdaphones/0,239036203,339273683,00.htm E61 is also good
But based on blogger, I lost most (if not all) format layout (ie bold, italic, list etc). I need to open the blogger website and do the format in there. I'm not sure about wordpress because I never post with email before.
Get yourself a cellphone that has a full keyboard and allows for sending email. I do moblogging to my personal blog using the Samsung Blackjack. First snap a nifty 1.3 MP photo, attach it to an email and type away. You'll be amazed at how fast you can get at thumb-typing.
i've considered getting a blackberry as my next phone to be able to type blog posts on the fly. that is, if an awesome wifi enabled smartphone doesn't come out first.. i dont get why so few smartphones have wifi
almost new nokia (N series and E series) now support wifi, but lack of thumboard. But those phone not yet define as smart phone
any smartphone equipped with a full keyboard, decent camera and wi-fi (or at least 3G) should do the job. It depends on how much you are willing to spend on it. As for the one wondering about the lack of wi-fi connectivity on smartphones, it's kind of simple from my point of view: the technology it's too expensive for now and it eats the battery very very fast...
