I have a mortgage website that does well but it could do better. Is wordpress the best? Or, is the blogger program good for starting one of these?

    Thanks,

    Scot

Wordpress is the best software in my view.

And this thread should be in Blogging section.

WordPress as a subfolder on your existing site.

Avoid blogger if you want to own and control your content.

WordPress is the best from every type of users point of view. For the standard blogger, it gives you a simple way to blog and install plugins, for the developer the code is really clean and easily understandable.

Yup, ditto Wordpress. The range of Plugins you'll find will also keep you amused for hours.

If you own a website, then wordpress anyday..Blogger is for part-timers like me, who do it for a pasttime rather than real intention to make bucks..

i think you should try both wordpress and blogger beta before jumping. Of course wordpress is prefered by everyone but with new beta release even blogger looks kind of promising and if you want to shift to wordpress later you can always export your content.

so just spend couple of hours to get the feel of both.

Yea, I would vote for WordPress too due to its ability of adding plug-in(s) easily.

Just remove the blogger bar if you don't like it. I did for one of my blogger blogs!! Have'nt really thought to do that with the rest of my blogger blogs. Guess I'll do that now...
