    Hello,
I'm in the process of creating splash pages right now. Currently I'm using psp x1 but it is completely garbage. I wouldn't spend $10 on this program. It just has so many bugs and errors I'm sick and tired of it. Photoshop doesn't run on this computer. What are some really good professional pic editors? Like photoshop or psp x2? Thanks for your time.

Probably Gimp is your best bet if you can't run photoshop. I haven't really used Gimp myself but have heard great things about it.

gimp has every one of Photoshop's features, but there's a steeper learning curve. It's completely free though!
